Salerno is located at the geographical centre of a triangle nicknamed the Tourist Triangle of the 3 P’s, namely a triangle with corners in Pompei, with its famous ruins after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, Paestum, with the archaeological area with the famous temples of Magna Graecia dating back to the 7th century before Christ, and Positano close to the ancient maritime republic of Amalfi with its famous coast. This peculiarity gives Salerno special tourist characteristics that are increased by the many local points of tourist interest like the Seafront Promenade, the Arechi’s Castle, the cathedral and the Educational Museum of the Salernitan Medical School.
The conference venue is the Campus of Fisciano (SA) which is far from Salerno center about 14 km. Transfers from Salerno to the Campus and vice-versa will be carried out by means of a shuttle exclusive for the meeting participants (time and pickup to define).
Salerno is connected to the rest of Europe via the international airport of Naples Capodichino. There are several possibilities to the University of Salerno from the airport of Naples: by bus companies, railway, and private transfer service. If the meeting participants send an e-mail to enastri@unisa.it, we can provide additional information if required. In the following, the main solutions are summarized.

From Salerno downtown To Fisciano Campus (SA)
A shuttle bus for connecting Salerno to the University campus will be organized according to the timetable of the meeting.
The use of the Shuttle service is suggested for those people who prefer to reach the University by themselves; the connections can also be exploited according to the timetable of the bus service.
